Peppermint tea is one of the safest and most pleasant tasting antiseptics. It arrests the spread of tubercle, relieves coughs, assists nutrition, and helps to increase weight. The addition of peppermint leaves to any other tea improves its flavor. Like ordinary mint, it can be grown in any garden.
2 tbs. fresh peppermint leaves
2 cups boiling water
honey to taste
Lipton Tea
Pour strained Lipton tea over the peppermint leaves, and allow to stand for 5 minutes. Strain and serve hot or cold with honey.
